Your windshield gets damaged. You need it fixed. But you don’t have time to sit in a shop for hours or drop your car off and figure out a ride.
That’s where mobile service makes sense. We come to your home, your office, or wherever your car is parked in Oyster Bay. Most windshield repairs take 30 minutes or less, and replacements are done the same day.
If your car has a front-facing camera—and most vehicles made after 2016 do—we handle the ADAS calibration on-site. That means your lane departure warnings, automatic braking, and other safety features work exactly like they should after the new glass goes in. You’re not guessing whether it’s done right. You know it is.
We’ve been serving Oyster Bay and Long Island since 2016, but the experience behind it goes back over 20 years. We’re Dinitrol certified and a New York State certified mobile repair shop.
This isn’t a corporate chain. You’re working with the owner on every job. That means the person who answers your call is the same person who shows up, does the work, and stands behind it with a lifetime warranty.
We’ve completed over 10,000 windshield repairs and replacements across Nassau and Suffolk counties. Oyster Bay drivers deal with everything from beach sand kicked up on Ocean Parkway to highway debris on the LIE. We’ve seen it all, and we know how to fix it right the first time.
You call or text us with your vehicle information and describe the damage. We give you a clear answer on whether it’s a repair or replacement, and we handle your insurance claim directly if you’re going through your carrier. Most people in New York have separate glass coverage with no deductible, so you typically pay nothing out of pocket.
We schedule a time that works for you and come to wherever your car is in Oyster Bay. We remove the damaged glass, prep the frame, and install your new windshield using professional-grade adhesives and equipment. If your vehicle has ADAS cameras or sensors, we calibrate them on-site so your safety systems function properly.
The adhesive needs time to cure—usually a few hours—so we’ll tell you when it’s safe to drive. After that, you’re done. The repair comes with a lifetime warranty, and you’re back on the road without ever sitting in a waiting room.

Every windshield replacement includes the glass itself, professional installation, and a lifetime warranty on workmanship. If your vehicle was manufactured after 2016 and has a camera mounted behind the windshield, ADAS calibration is part of the service. That’s not an upsell—it’s required for your safety systems to work.
We also handle sunroof repairs, side window replacements, and back glass. If you’re filing an insurance claim, we manage the paperwork and bill your carrier directly. You don’t need to pay upfront and wait for reimbursement.
In Oyster Bay, windshield damage often comes from road debris, especially along Route 106 and the Northern State Parkway during winter months when salt trucks and plows are running. Chips turn into cracks fast when temperatures drop overnight, which is common here from November through March. If you catch a chip early, we can repair it in about 30 minutes and stop it from spreading. Once it cracks past a certain point, replacement is the only safe option.
Most auto insurance policies in New York include separate glass coverage with no deductible. That means if you have comprehensive coverage, your windshield replacement typically costs you nothing out of pocket.
We work directly with your insurance company. You give us your policy information, we verify your coverage, and we handle the claim from there. You don’t need to call your insurer, fill out forms, or pay upfront and wait for reimbursement.
If you’re not sure what your policy covers, we can check that for you during the first call. It takes a few minutes, and you’ll know exactly what to expect before we schedule anything.
The actual replacement takes about an hour. We remove the old glass, clean and prep the frame, install the new windshield, and calibrate your ADAS camera if your vehicle has one.
But you can’t drive immediately after. The adhesive that holds the windshield in place needs time to cure—usually three to four hours depending on temperature and humidity. We’ll give you a specific safe-to-drive time before we leave.
If you need your car sooner, let us know when you call. We can sometimes work around your schedule or suggest timing that minimizes downtime. Most people in Oyster Bay have us come to their home or office so they can go about their day while the adhesive sets.
ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. If your car has features like lane departure warnings, automatic emergency braking, or adaptive cruise control, it uses a camera mounted behind your windshield to make those systems work.
When we replace your windshield, that camera gets moved—even slightly—and it needs to be recalibrated. If we don’t calibrate it, your safety features might not work correctly. Your car might not brake when it should, or it might give you false warnings.
We calibrate ADAS systems on-site using the same equipment and procedures the dealership uses. It’s included in every windshield replacement for vehicles that need it. You don’t pay extra, and you don’t need to make a second trip somewhere else to get it done.
It depends on the size and location of the damage. If you have a chip or small crack—usually smaller than a dollar bill—and it’s not directly in the driver’s line of sight, we can often repair it. Repairs take about 30 minutes and cost significantly less than replacement.
If the crack is longer than six inches, if it’s at the edge of the windshield, or if it’s blocking your view, replacement is the safer option. Cracks spread, especially when temperatures change or when you hit bumps. Repairing a crack that’s too large won’t hold, and it puts you at risk.
When you call, describe the damage and we’ll tell you whether repair or replacement makes sense. We’re not going to upsell you on a replacement if a repair will do the job. But we’re also not going to patch something that won’t hold just to save you money short-term.
We cover all of Oyster Bay and the surrounding areas in Nassau and Suffolk counties. That includes Oyster Bay Cove, Bayville, Mill Neck, Laurel Hollow, and everywhere in between. If you’re anywhere on Long Island, we can get to you.
Mobile service means we come to wherever your car is. Your driveway, your office parking lot, the grocery store—it doesn’t matter. As long as we have space to work safely around your vehicle, we can do the job there.
We schedule appointments based on location and timing to make sure we’re not making you wait around all day. When we give you a time window, we stick to it. You’ll get a call when we’re on the way so you know exactly when to expect us.
The main difference is who’s doing the work. We’re owner-operated. The person who answers your call is the same person who shows up and installs your windshield. You’re not dealing with a different technician every time or getting routed through a call center.
We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and we’ve completed more than 10,000 jobs across Long Island. Every windshield replacement comes with a lifetime warranty, and we’re Dinitrol certified and New York State certified as a mobile repair shop.
Larger chains handle volume. We handle quality. You’re not a ticket number here. You’re a neighbor in Oyster Bay who needs their car fixed right, and that’s what we do.
