Your car stays where it is. Your day keeps moving. You get professional windshield replacement or repair without driving to a shop, sitting in a waiting room, or rearranging your schedule around someone else’s hours.
That’s what mobile service actually means. A certified technician brings the shop to your driveway, your office parking lot, or wherever your car happens to be in Nassau or Suffolk County. The work gets done right there while you handle what matters to you.
And if your vehicle has a front-facing camera, the ADAS calibration happens on-site too. No second trip. No guessing whether your lane departure warning or automatic braking will work correctly. Just complete service, proper calibration, and a lifetime warranty on the work before we leave.
We’ve been serving Lynbrook and the surrounding Long Island area since 2016, but the experience behind our work goes back over 20 years. This is an owner-operated business, which means when you call, you’re talking to someone who actually does the work and stands behind it.
You’re not getting routed through a call center. You’re not dealing with corporate policies that don’t make sense for your situation. You’re working directly with a Dinitrol-certified technician and New York State certified mobile repair shop that’s completed over 10,000 services across Nassau and Suffolk County.
Lynbrook drivers know how quickly a small chip on the Southern State Parkway can turn into a full crack. They also know that newer vehicles with ADAS systems need more than just glass replacement. That’s why we focus on doing the complete job right the first time, with the calibration and warranty to back it up.
You call or text with details about your vehicle and the damage. You get a transparent quote, usually within minutes, and if you’re working with insurance, we handle that directly so you’re not paying out of pocket.
Once you’re ready to move forward, you pick the time and location that works for you. Our mobile unit shows up with everything needed: OEM-quality glass, professional-grade adhesives, and ADAS calibration equipment if your vehicle requires it.
We remove the damaged glass, prep the frame, install the new windshield, and let the adhesive cure to manufacturer specifications. If your car has a forward-facing camera, the calibration happens right there using either static or dynamic methods depending on what your vehicle’s system requires. You get documentation of the calibration for your records and insurance compliance.
Before we leave, you receive confirmation of the lifetime warranty on the installation. That’s it. Your vehicle is safe to drive, your ADAS systems are functioning correctly, and you didn’t have to go anywhere.
Ready to get started?
Every windshield replacement includes OEM-quality glass that meets your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications, not aftermarket alternatives that might not fit correctly or could affect your ADAS sensors. The installation uses premium adhesives designed for Long Island’s weather extremes, from summer heat that can reach the 90s to winter temperatures that drop below freezing.
ADAS calibration is included when your vehicle requires it, and most cars from 2015 and newer do. This covers lane departure warning systems, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and any other camera-based safety features. We offer both static calibration (done in a controlled environment with specific targets) and dynamic calibration (done while driving) depending on your vehicle’s requirements.
The lifetime warranty covers the installation workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. If there’s a leak, a seal issue, or any problem related to how the glass was installed, we fix it at no cost to you. Insurance claims are handled through direct billing, which means you’re not waiting for reimbursement or dealing with paperwork between us and your insurance company.
Lynbrook’s location near major highways like the Southern State Parkway and Sunrise Highway means debris damage is common. Our mobile service covers the entire area, from Rockville Centre to Oceanside, and throughout Nassau and Suffolk County.
Most comprehensive auto insurance policies in New York cover windshield replacement with little to no deductible, and many now cover ADAS calibration as part of that claim since it’s required for the vehicle to function safely after glass replacement.
Your insurance company typically requires proof that the calibration was completed to maintain coverage compliance. We provide that documentation as part of the service. If you’re unsure about your specific coverage, calling your insurance company before scheduling usually clears up what’s covered and what your out-of-pocket cost will be.
We handle direct billing with insurance companies, which means you’re not paying upfront and waiting for reimbursement. The claim gets processed directly, and if there’s a deductible, you’ll know exactly what that amount is before any work starts.
The actual installation typically takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on your vehicle. ADAS calibration adds another 30 to 60 minutes if your car requires it. So you’re looking at roughly two hours total for a complete windshield replacement with calibration.
But here’s what matters more than the time on-site: the adhesive cure time. Most modern urethane adhesives need at least one hour to cure before the vehicle is safe to drive, and some manufacturers recommend waiting longer depending on temperature and humidity. We’ll give you specific guidance based on the conditions that day and your vehicle’s requirements.
If you’re at home or at work, you can go about your business while the adhesive cures. We’ll let you know exactly when it’s safe to drive. Rushing this part creates safety risks and can compromise the seal, so it’s worth respecting the cure time even if the installation itself is finished.
Your safety systems won’t work correctly, and in some cases, they won’t work at all. The camera mounted behind your windshield is calibrated to very specific angles and positions. When the windshield comes off and a new one goes on, even a millimeter of difference in how that glass sits can throw off the camera’s field of view.
That means your automatic emergency braking might not engage at the right distance, your lane departure warning could activate incorrectly or not at all, and your adaptive cruise control may not maintain proper following distance. These aren’t minor inconveniences. They’re safety systems that you and other drivers are depending on to work when they’re needed.
Beyond the safety issue, there’s the insurance and liability concern. If you’re in an accident and it’s discovered that your ADAS system wasn’t properly calibrated after a windshield replacement, your insurance company could deny the claim. Most manufacturers and insurance companies now require proof of calibration, and that requirement is only getting stricter as more vehicles come with these systems standard.
It depends on the size, location, and type of damage. A chip smaller than a quarter that’s not directly in the driver’s line of sight can usually be repaired. A crack longer than three inches, or any damage that’s in the driver’s primary field of view, typically requires full replacement.
If the damage is at the edge of the windshield or has already started to spread, repair isn’t an option because the structural integrity is compromised. Same goes for damage that’s gone through multiple layers of the glass or has dirt and moisture in it.
The decision isn’t about what’s cheapest or fastest. It’s about what keeps the windshield structurally sound and your visibility clear. During the initial call or text, you can describe the damage and usually get a preliminary answer about whether repair is possible. But the final call happens when we see it in person, because some damage looks minor until you’re examining it up close.
We use OEM-quality glass that meets your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications. This matters more now than it used to because of ADAS systems and the sensors embedded in or around modern windshields.
Aftermarket glass can have slight variations in thickness, curvature, or tinting that affect how cameras and sensors function. A windshield that’s even slightly different in shape can change the camera’s field of view, which throws off the calibration. Some aftermarket glass also doesn’t have the proper mounting points or brackets for ADAS sensors, which means you’re trying to retrofit parts that weren’t designed to work together.
OEM glass is manufactured to the exact specifications your vehicle was designed around. It fits correctly, it works with your ADAS systems without modification, and it meets the safety standards your car was tested with. For newer vehicles with advanced safety features, using anything else creates problems that aren’t worth the minor cost savings you might get with cheaper glass.
The lifetime warranty covers any issue related to the installation workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. If the windshield leaks, if the seal fails, if there’s wind noise caused by improper installation, we fix it at no cost to you.
What it doesn’t cover is new damage from rocks, accidents, or anything else that happens after the installation is complete. It also doesn’t cover issues caused by frame damage to the vehicle itself or problems that existed before the windshield was replaced.
The warranty is transferable if you sell the vehicle, which can actually be a selling point if you’re listing a car with a recently replaced windshield. You’ll receive documentation of the warranty after the work is completed, and there’s no fine print requiring you to come back for inspections or pay for periodic maintenance to keep the warranty valid. It’s straightforward coverage on the installation, backed by an owner-operated business that’s been serving Long Island since 2016.
