If your car has ADAS features that need calibration, add another 30 to 60 minutes depending on the system. The calibration has to be done correctly, and that takes time. But it all happens in one appointment, so you’re not scheduling a second visit somewhere else.
After the installation, the adhesive needs a few hours to fully cure before the car is ready for highway speeds or rough roads. You’ll get specific instructions based on the adhesive used and the weather conditions that day. In most cases, you can drive the car right away for local errands, but it’s smart to wait at least three to four hours before any heavy use.
